| Details | 11-year-old, three FP, two PA-C family practice located in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, has an immediate need to add at least one FP at this busy practice to replace the physician that is relocating to be nearer to family and church. In addition, another of our physicians is nearing retirement and plans to reduce his patient load once we recruit the second FP. This practice covers the full range of FP services including minor procedures, casting, certain lab tests, X-rays, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and culposcopy at the office; however, NO OB, nursery care for newborns, or nursing home. Office hours are 8 to 5, Monday through Friday. Saturday office hours are 9 to 12 beginning the Saturday after Labor Day and continuing through the Saturday before Memorial Day. Call is currently 1:4, but the group will expand as doctors are added. Call is usually pretty quiet and handled from home via telephone. Hospital is in process of being acquired, which is a positive step. A new hospitalist program will be implemented this fall and we will likely utilize it. There are plans to build a new hospital in 5 years. Our community has plenty of available shopping and eateries locally and is also part of the metropolitan Atlanta area. Located only 20 minutes from Atlanta airport, 30 minutes from Turner FIeld (Braves Baseball), 30-35 minutes from the Georgia Dome, various stage theaters, the symphony, concert venues, and the High Museum -- our community offers the best of both worlds and is located in rapidly growing portion of our county. Enjoy plenty of recreational activities. Let the State of Georgia pay your high school graduate's instate college tuition by taking advantage of the Hope Scholarship Program -- by maintaining a "B" average, State of Georgia will pay tuition. |
